Single Trip
For a single trip policy, you can take out our insurance up to 540 days in advance.

No, Venturesure only covers round trips that start and end in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. However, please contact us on 02392 419026 as we may be able to offer a different policy.
There is no upper age limit on a single trip policy. However, please note that annual multi-trip policies are age capped at 65 years old.
The start date of your policy should be the day that you leave home. The end date should be the date you return home. This could differ from the date you travel home, for instance, if you arrive at the airport at 11pm but get home at 2am the following day. It is important to ensure that your insurance covers you for the entirety of your journey.
Yes, for single trip policies you are covered for cancellation from the moment you take out the insurance until the date you go on holiday.
Annual Multi-trip
About a month before the expiry date of your current annual multi-trip policy, we will send a reminder email to the lead traveller. Please note, you will need to complete a new application and medical screening for the next year of insurance. This is because it is crucial we have up to date medical information so we can accurately cover you.
You can travel as often as you’d like on an annual policy. You will be limited on how many days you can be away for at one time, depending on your cover level. Please see the different cover limits below:
Silver = 32 days per trip
Gold = 45 days per trip
Platinum = 60 days per trip
Our annual multi-trip policy is age capped at 65 years old, however, if you are over this age limit, please get in touch with us on 02392 419026 as we may have an alternative policy we can offer.
For an annual policy, cancellation cover begins on the start date you select. We can start an annual policy up to 31 days in advance.
Yes, an annual multi-trip policy also covers trips within your home area, provided you have at least 2 nights of pre-booked accommodation, or pre-booked transport at least 50 miles from your home.
Existing medical conditions
When you go through a quotation, you will be taken through a medical screening. Please take your time to answer the questions and declare any relevant medical conditions. If you are unsure on how to answer the questions, you can obtain a quote over the phone, and one of our trained team members will take you through the process to get a quote.
If you are awaiting a test or test results for a routine regular check up for a diagnosed condition, you will need to declare the condition during the medical screening. However, if you are awaiting the results of an investigation and you have an undiagnosed condition, we will be unable to provide cover until you have a diagnosis. If you are unsure, please contact us on 02392 419026 so we can advise.
At the time of a quotation, we need you to confirm that you are fit to travel and that your doctor would agree that you are fit to travel. If you are unsure if your doctor would agree, you will need to check this before we can offer a quote. We generally only need letters from your doctor in the event of a claim, however, be sure to leave plenty of time before your trip in case we do require more information.
Our Venturesure policy can cover pre-existing medical conditions, however, we have a maximum medical score we can allow on the policy. If you exceed the medical score, we may have an alternative policy we can look at for you. Please give us a call on 02392 419026 so we can assist you. Alternatively, some medical conditions come with an annual exclusion, meaning we can only insure you on a single trip basis.
